Event volunteers work with the Foundation in a concentrated period of time leading up to, during, and shortly after an event. Scheduling of volunteer hours will be determined based on Foundation need and volunteer availability.
Job Summary: Provide logistical support to development staff and special event planning committees in support of fundraising initiatives benefiting Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) and the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM).

- Able to work in a team setting as well as independently
- Possess good organizational skills, paying close attention to details

Responsibilities:
- Assist with event preparation including, but not limited to, supply organization and pick-up and delivery of event supplies, and event packet assembly
- Assist with event set-up including, but not limited to, décor, auction item displays, sponsor recognition, tent(s), tables and/or chairs.
- Assist with event production including, but not limited to, participant registration, event merchandise sales, food and/or beverage service, live and silent auction assistance
- Assist with event breakdown including, but not limited to, disassembly of décor, removal of event supplies from location, storage of event supplies at Foundation office
