Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama gives $1.5 million – Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama recently donated $1.5 million to the Southeast Alabama Medical Center Foundation to benefit the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.

ACOM An Economic Engine

The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) is projected to have a statewide economic impact of $34.5 million by the time it opens in 2013, according to an independent study done by a national consulting firm.
